New Delhi (TAN): Flights often get delayed because of various causes, many of which happen to be technical.
But recently, an early morning Mumbai-bound Air India flight from the national capital was delayed owing to an entirely unusual reason – an elderly woman had forgotten her passport bag at the security check-in.
The crew of the national carrier assisted the woman in the search, located the bag and gave it back to its rightful owner.

Now, it is not unusual to find passengers irritated when a flight gets delayed, but this time it was different. Instead of getting annoyed at the delay, they applauded the airline’s effort to help its elderly passenger.
Journalist Vir Sanghvi, who was on the same flight, took to Twitter to appreciate the airline and its crew.
“An airline with a heart. Could have been your mom or mine,” he said.
