Australia: One of Hunter Valley’s most prestigious estates is now an InterContinental voco property

Sydney (TAN): Kirkton Park Hotel, one of Hunter Valley, Australia’s most prestigious estates, has recently reopened as a voco property, United Kingdom-based hospitality major InterContinental Hotels Group’s new upscale brand.

Located in Australia’s New South Wales region, voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is the brand’s second property in the country.

The Hunter Valley is renowned for its exceptional food and wine offering, so it is tremendously exciting to introduce voco to the region to enhance our beautiful estate with a new, fresh and fun approach,” said Penny Crossley, General Manager at voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley.

Sprawling over 70 acres of rural surroundings and walking trails, the Kirkton Park estate is a sought-after holiday destination for its proximity to some of the region’s most famed wineries. It is also one of the first Hunter Valley Hotels to be established in the region, and became part of the InterContinental Hotels Group in 2017.

Designed by interior designer Greg Natale, the property features voco’s signature bright yellow accents. voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley has 70 rooms, each exuding the brand’s vibrant and chic vibes.

While Locavore Dining and Epoche Lounge Bar is the go-to spot for dining experiences, The Conservatory hosts high tea experience overlooking the rose garden. Guests can also access various facilities including tennis courts, billiards room, an indoor heated pool, sauna and spa, and gymnasium.

With sustainability being an important part of the voco brand, the property not only endorses a paddock to plate ethos, but also sustains onsite beehives and ensures zero food waste by rearing farm animals in the estate.

It will introduceplastic-free bedding with soft, high-quality duvets made from recyclable plastics, while large bottle amenities from Australian-owned Aveda have been welcomed to successfully reduce the volume of plastic waste’.
