New Delhi (TAN): Embattled Indian airline Jet Airways on Wednesday stopped complimentary meal options on all its domestic flights in all fare categories and introduced JetBistro, a service where passengers can purchase their food in the aircraft.

“We are delighted to introduce, JetBistro, our specially curated buy on board menu, serving on flights within India. You can now choose from a delectable selection of munchies, meals and beverages and pay using your debit or credit card,” the airline said.

“Be it a hot cup of coffee or organic green tea, scrumptious biryani or a Jain meal, we’ve got something to satisfy your every mid-air craving,” it said.

The JetBistro menu is placed in the seat pocket for passengers to make their choices.

Guests who have booked a Fare Choice option which includes a complimentary meal, will also have the option to buy an additional meal of their choice from JetBistro.
