Sculpture by the Sea: White-sand Cottesloe beach in Perth turns art gallery

Perth (TAN): The beautiful white-sand Cottesloe beach has been transformed into an art gallery with it hosting the annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition.

In its 15th year this time, the exhibition features 71 artworks by artists from 19 countries.

The outdoor exhibition, which is on till March 18, is attracting thousands of visitors from around the world.

Noted kinetic sculptor and Tourism WA Invited Artist for 2019, Phil Price from New Zealand, is attracting attention with his entry titled ‘Ipomoea’.

The outdoor art exhibition is featured from the sea wall at Cottesloe beach all the way along the sand towards North Cottesloe and the surrounding grassed areas creating a beautiful sculpture park. Visitors can access the beach from the ramps or stairs at different locations along Marine Parade.
