US: Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner offers “take the train and save” deal

Los Angeles (TAN): Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner is offering “take the train and save” deal on train travel and admission in Disneyland Resort Theme Park in California, United States.

The promotion offers 5 per cent discount on the Disneyland Resort Theme Park admission, and free ride for kids on the Pacific Surfliner train to the Disneyland Resort when accompanied by a paid adult.

Southern California residents can use their train reservation number to get the 5 per cent discount on their tickets. Three-day, one-park per day tickets will cost them USD 170, while three-day park hopper will cost them USD 222 after discount.

For others, regular theme park admission prices will vary by date, starting at USD 104 per day.

The deal is valid until May 20, 2019.

Jennifer L. Bergener, Managing Director of the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency, which oversees the Pacific Surfliner service, said: “We are excited to offer savings not only on train travel, but also on a quintessential SoCal experience. By partnering with the DisneylandResort, we hope to enhance the journey for those traveling to the theme parks, while also providing added value to Disney fans and Pacific Surfliner customers.”

The Pacific Surfliner train travels to California’s Anaheim from destinations such as San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Pacific Surfliner passengers can then avail free connection from Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center to reach the Disneyland Resort.
