(NITN): Air Canada informed on Wednesday that it has suspended its direct flights between Vancouver and Delhi for three months due to the Ukraine-Russia crisis as flights enroute to the British Columbia city need to utilise both the war hit nations airspaces.
The suspension of flights will begin with effect from June 2 for passengers flying from Vancouver to Delhi and from June 4 for those returning.
The Canadian flag carrier airline’s decision will last till early September.
Resumptions of flights between both the cities are targeted by Sept. 6 from Vancouver and by Sept. 8 from Delhi, Air Canada said.
