(VIN): Air India has announced it will operate additional flights to London, Paris, and Sydney.
“Air India will operate additional flights from Delhi to Sydney between 10th & 14th October 2020,” India’s national carrier tweeted.
But the airline mentioned that the availability of seats would be limited due to restrictions imposed by Australian authorities to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“Limited seats available due to quarantine restrictions by Australian Authorities. Booking will open today at 1600 hrs (IST) through AI Website, Booking Offices and Call Centre,” the tweet read.

Additional flights from Delhi to Paris will be available every Thursday and Sunday between November 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021.
Additional flights between India and Britain will be available between January 1, 2021 and March 27, 2021. Flights to London will depart from Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, and Goa. Flights on the Delhi-Amritsar-Birmingham route will run every Friday between October 30, 2020 and November 29, 2020.
Separately, bookings have also opened for a Riyadh-Mumbai flight on October 10, 2020 and two Dammam-Trichy flights on October 12 and 19, 2020.
Commercial passenger flight operations were suspended in India on March 25 after New Delhi imposed a lockdown to contain the coronavirus pandemic. However, domestic flights resumed operations from May 25 in a gradual manner.
