The airline will not charge oversize bag fees for common sports and music equipment. Instead, it will accept the oversize pieces as standard checked bags.
Travellers will have to pay just the price of a standard first bag if the weight is less than 50 lbs. For instance, customers who earlier paid USD 150 for one oversize item, will now pay USD 30.
Passengers flying with skis or a snowboard will now be able to check in an equipment bag with the skis or snowboard as one bag, weighing up to 50 lbs and 62 inches.

However, oversize items such as antlers, hang gliders, scuba tanks and kite or windsurfing items will continue to cost passengers a fee of USD150.
Additional restrictions or allowances may apply.
