Washington, DC (TAN): If you have a late spring or summer trip in north eastern United States in mind, Amtrak has just the right offer for you.
Amtrak is offering a 30 per cent discount on Northeast Regional train fares until April 3 as part of its April Fools’ Day celebrations.
The ‘Unprank Sale’ is valid for travel between May 1 and August 28, 2019, with no blackout dates.

Passengers can buy tickets starting from USD 19 to travel to cities along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, between Boston, Massachusetts and Virginia Beach in the state of Virginia.
The offer is applicable for all Northeast Regional train service, including ‘Keystone Service’ and ‘Pennsylvanian’ trains between New York and Philadelphia, and the ‘Vermonter’, between New Haven and Washington, D.C., Amtrak said.
Under the sale, passengers can travel only in coach classes, and upgrades to business class is not allowed.

Amtrak will allow exchanges within the ticket validity period, with a 25 per cent cancellation fee.
Amtrak Guest Rewards members can register to earn double points on travel during Double Days, until May 18, 2019.
