(TAN): Yellowstone National Park has specifically advised visitors to keep their distance from bisons at this point because of the ongoing bison mating season.
The animals are especially aggressive right now during the bison mating season, the park said in a Facebook post.
“Male bison are particularly aggressive right now, though all bison and other wildlife can be dangerous,” the post, which accompanied a video of a bison fight, said.
Yellowstone National Park has advised visitors to keep a distance of at least 25 metres from bison and elk and 100 yards from all other wildlife.
