Beijing (TAN): Singapore-based luxury hospitality chain Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts recently hosted kids with special needs at its Pan Pacific Tianjin property in Hongqiao, China, for a session on hotel operation and products.
Kids from China-based children’s home Prince of Peace Children’s Home, managed by United Kingdom-based World Vision International, attended the session.
They were given a tour of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, kitchens, guestrooms, banquet rooms, CCTV control room and uniform room.
While the hotel’s executive housekeeper demonstrated crucial housekeeping skills to the children, the pastry chef led a pastry making class at Pacifica Restaurant. The kids, after learning how to make alphabet cookies, put together the abbreviated form of the Prince of Peace Children’s Home and the hotel. Later, they were also treated to tea.
