(TAN): A Bangladeshi woman got drunk, stripped, climbed on a Buddhist shrine, and swore at passers-by with a beer can in hand in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, on August 10 evening, Mail Online reported.
The report identified the drunk tourist as 28-year-old Farah Haque.
The report, which accompanied a video of the woman, showed her sitting on a handrail of the shrine by the road, chanting religious slogans and abusing anyone who tried talking to her.

The police finally escorted the drunk tourist to a local psychiatric hospital to sober up before being assessed by doctors.
Police said Haque had initially arrived as a tourist but had been working as an English teacher since April, the report added.
