Dubai (TAN): Emirates passengers will now be able to manage their flights in Arabic on the Emirates app.
With the inclusion of Arabic, the total number of languages supported by the app currently stands at 19.

All the features in the app are available in Arabic so that travellers can not only search, book and manage their flights but also keep a tab on their Skywards accounts.
While a quarter of Emirates’ ticket sales was made digitally last year, over 40 per cent travellers checked into their flights online.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand (Digital) at Emirates Alex Knigge said the Emirates app has become a ‘useful travel companion’ for over 1.5 million flyers a month.
“We have worked very hard to ensure our customers enjoy the same high-quality Emirates experience in the digital world as they do when enjoying our award-winning physical product and service. We will continue to invest in mobile to provide an enjoyable customer experience and to make our customers’ travel journey as seamless as possible,” he added.
The other languages the app is available in include English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Czech, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Polish, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Turkish.

The Emirates app presently receives 600,000 odd downloads per month.
It was fitted with a new technology earlier this year which allows users to create personalised playlists for their upcoming journeys, and sync it to their seats once they boarded the aircraft.
