(TAN): Four Seasons Hotel Prague is promoting its restaurant MIRU, which is set to open with a new menu on May 25.
The hotel is inviting guests to “embark on a Japanese gourmet journey on one of the best terraces in the city.”
New Japanese Chef Toshikazu Kato and Executive Sous Chef Nicholas Trosien created a nine-course degustation menu rooted in the Nikkei concept, Four Seasons said in a news release.

“MIRU is all about flavour and product. The dishes marry Japanese techniques with a touch of Peruvian ingredients. Combining our travel and culinary experiences with current trends, Nicholas and I focused on creating a gourmet experience that is unique in both its use of rare and authentic ingredients as well as its location.” said Chef Toshikazu Kato.
Guests can enhance their dinner with boutique wines and three original cocktails, or with creative, non-alcoholic drinks. Blending traditional Japanese ingredients with modern mixology, the beverage pairing elevates the tasting menu even further.

Guests can dine under the sky with welcome drinks served against the backdrop of the sun setting over the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, the statement says. “With only four tables available at the terrace fashioned in the style of a Japanese garden, diners can savour the one-of-a-kind degustation menu and stunning views in a calming and intimate oasis,” it adds.
