(TAN): Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC has reopened after it was closed for a few days following a fire at at BOURBON STEAK kitchen on August 15.
Guest rooms, as well as the Spa and Fitness Center, were largely unaffected, by the fire.
All BOURBON STEAK and Hotel guests and employees were safely evacuated from the building and the Hotel made prompt arrangements for alternative accommodation for its guests and patrons, including two wedding parties who were able to continue their happy celebration with only a slight delay at a neighbouring hotel, the hotel said in a statement.

Restoration works were immediately commenced to repair any water or smoke damage to the hotel.
“Our team has worked so hard to keep our hotel open throughout this year. It was devastating to have to close due to a fire on Saturday (August 15) night,” said Regional Vice President and General Manager David Bernand. “I am so proud of how the team has come together once again to accomplish the seemingly impossible and swiftly prepare the Hotel for reopening.”
BOURBON STEAK DC will remain closed for the immediate future for renovation and repairs.
