(TAN): The German National Tourism Board (GNTB) has launched a social media campaign named “Feel Good” that brings sustainable tourism offers across the country in focus. The campaign will run this month via the GNTB channels on Facebook and Instagram in the neighbouring countries of Germany — Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Austria.
Advertising in the Facebook News Feed, Instagram Feed and Instagram Explore Feed as well In the stories on Facebook and Instagram, GNTB aims to direct customers to a microsite that has a curated selection of tested cities, regions and hotels. The campaign explains the added value for the guest: tested sustainable offers stand for quality, comfort, enjoyment, authenticity and regionality and make a contribution to Climate protection.
GNTB Executive Board Chairwoman Petra Hedorfer said, “With ‘Feel Good’, we communicate these quality (sustainable tourism) products in a targeted manner in international source markets in order to continue the restart of incoming tourism.”
The GNTB defined the key markets for the campaign on the basis of a study by Tourism Economics from June 2020. It contains a ranking of the countries that use the greatest potential for rapid recovery as a source market for German’s incoming tourism. The offers presented on the microsite were created by the GNTB in collaboration with the national tourism organizations and sustainability experts from TourCert.
