(TAN): Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with the world’s largest alternative asset manager, Blackstone, and Event Hotels to open DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm. The property will become the first DoubleTree by Hilton in Berlin, following a major revamp, the hotel group said in a news release.
The 420-guest room property will open in June as the sixth property in the German capital for the hotel group.

The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant and bar, with touches of opulent design throughout the hotel’s interiors.
