(TAN): Spanish party hotspot Ibiza hardly has any tourists now and some tourists are of the view this is the perfect time to visit the island because it has relatively low COVID-19 cases.
Tourism in Spain is experiencing the worst summer in its history, a report said.
The situation arises mainly from the quarantine and advice against travel announced by France, Germany and the UK. However, many fail to understand the reason behind this.

“It’s not needed, there are fewer cases in Ibiza and all the Balearic islands than there is in a borough of London so you know it’s a safer place to be than it is the UK,” Euronews quoted a British tourist as saying.
“The amount of COVID we have had during the pandemic (in Ibiza, Formentera and the Balearic islands)… practically negligible,” a restaurant owner said, the report added.
