(IBNS): An approximately six-year-old male cheetah, which was named ‘Uday’, died at Kuno National Park in India on Sunday, making it the second such fatality over the recent past.
Confirming the incident, JS Chauhan – a senior Forest Department officer – told UNI, “This morning, it was reported that the carnivore suddenly took ill. Wildlife experts executed a medical examination. Treatment was initiated but the animal succumbed. The autopsy report is awaited.”

Last month, an approximately five-year-old female cheetah was claimed by renal infection.
On September 17, 2022; Prime Minister Narendra Modi released eight Namibian cheetahs into the Park.
In February, 12 South African ones were released and on March 29 four cubs were born.
