(TAN): Ginger has signed a new hotel in Zirakpur, Chandigarh. The new property will be a fully fitted lease, said IHCL, Ginger’s parent company.
The new hotel will be designed around the Ginger brand’s lean luxe philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary and seamless hospitality experience to its guests.
Ginger Hotels MD and CEO Deepika Rao said, “Zirakpur is a fast-growing city in the Chandigarh metropolitan region and Ginger, with its energizing new experience, is well poised to capture the growing demand of the city of Chandigarh.”

The hotel is a brown-field mixed use development project, located in Zirakpur. It is part of Dhillon Plaza, which is located amidst a buzzing commercial hub on National Highway 152 connecting Chandigarh and Delhi. The hotel will feature 110 rooms, an all-day diner, a bar, two meeting rooms and a fitness centre.
Zirakpur is a satellite town neighbouring Chandigarh, the first planned city of India.
This will be IHCL’s second hotel in Chandigarh.
