(TAN): India’s northeastern state Meghalaya will open for visitors from outside the state from December 21, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said.
“#Meghalaya reopens its #Tourism from 21st December, 2020,” Sangma tweeted and shared a video of what awaits tourists who visit the beautiful mountainous state.

“To ensure the safety of everyone, registration through the @meghtourism app is made mandatory & SOPs are put in place,” he said in another tweet.
Tourist places have been opened for local tourists since October 16. Safety, sanitization and all Covid-19 protocols are being followed.
