(TAN): Jumeirah Frankfurt has received Bureau Veritas’ Safeguard label – the first Jumeirah hotel in Europe to receive the certification, the hotel said.
Bureau Veritas – a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services – has developed detailed checklists with global health, safety and hygiene specialists to ensure that procedures in place for the resumption of operations meet local and international regulations, as well as recognised best practices.

Jumeirah Frankfurt General Manager Daniela Fette-Rakowski said, ‟The safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues has always been our highest priority. The Bureau Veritas Safeguard Label allows us to verify that we work in compliance with the very highest standards in health and safety measures. The certification is important in restoring confidence and demonstrating our commitment to operate our hotel to the highest global standards.”
Meticulous audits are carried out to ensure protective measures are implemented efficiently, with the label awarded if all requirements are met, the hotel claimed in a statement.
Jumeirah Frankfurt has implemented a series of protective measures, designed to keep guests and staff safe. These include protective masks, daily temperature checks and extensive hygiene training for all staff, strict social distancing across all areas of the hotel including restaurants, bar and elevators, and sanitisation of all public areas up to three times a day.

In guest rooms, housekeeping thoroughly clean and aerate every day and provide sanitising and hygiene amenities including masks, sanitising gel and wipes. Rooms are left vacant for three days after each stay as an additional safety measure and, where this is not possible due to high occupancy, the room undergoes a complete sanitisation process.
All dining experiences have taken additional precautionary measures, including full restaurant sanitisation before each service, buffets redefined with á la carte choices, table distancing and hygiene amenities placed on each table for guests to utilise.
