Cologne (TAN): German airline Lufthansa will move some of its Airbus A380 aircraft from Frankfurt to Munich, to prepare them for addition in the summer 2020 itinerary. Following the shift, Munich will have seven of the airline’s 14 A380 aircraft while the rest will be stationed in Frankfurt.
The changes will enable the airline to operate the double decker aircraft to Boston in the United States for the first time. Lufthansa will also serve San Francisco with a A380 throughout the year.
