(TAN): Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has revealed plans to open its third hotel in London, named Mandarin Oriental Bankside, London, in 2028.
Situated on London’s South Bank, the hotel will offer great views of St Paul’s Cathedral, making it an ideal location for both leisure and business travellers. The hotel will be part of the larger Bankside Yards development, aiming to reconnect the space between the Tate Modern and Blackfriars Station, centered around the historic railway arches that run through the site.
The development, led by an international real estate consortium consisting of Hotel Properties Limited, Native Land Limited, and Amcorp Properties Berhad, will feature a contemporary standalone building housing 171 guestrooms and 70 branded Residences at Mandarin Oriental. The hotel will offer wellness and fitness facilities tailored for active lifestyles, including a comprehensive Spa at Mandarin Oriental, a 25-metre lap pool, a spacious fitness center, and invigorating heat and water experiences.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, the property will benefit from the Bankside Yards development plan, striving to become the UK’s first operationally fossil fuel-free major mixed-use development.
The Residences at Mandarin Oriental will offer a refined living experience within the vibrant Bankside Yards development, granting residents access to the renowned Mandarin Oriental service and hotel facilities.
