Mexico City (TAN): If you want to live like a Barbie girl in a Barbie world, Hilton Hotels has your back.
The United States-based hotel chain’s Santa Fe Mexico City property has partnered with California’s toy manufacturing company Mattel to launch a Barbie glamping experience as part of the iconic doll’s 60th birthday celebrations.
General Manager of Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe Andres Korngold said: “Glamping is a fusion of glamour and camping, combining the convenience and luxury of a hotel with certain aspects of traditional camping.”

The hot pink Barbie-themed suite, which took 20 weeks to create, will be unveiled this month.
Guests will receive the Barbie treatment from the word go, with a pink carpet welcoming them into the hotel. They can also pause for a photo-op with an oversized pink Barbie shoe.
The suite features a life-sized DreamCamper for children to play dress-up or spend the night in, a Barbie doll collection from the past six decades, Barbie artwork and décor.
When not sitting around the faux campfire inside the Barbie-themed suite, guests can also enjoy hot pink lounge chairs by the hotel pool, or dive into the exclusive pink menu from the hotel’s Madera restaurant with dishes such as heart-shaped pizzas, gnocchi in pink sauce, red velvet treats and strawberry ice cream.
