(TAN): The oneworld alliance has been named Best Airline Alliance again in the Cellars in the Sky Awards, in recognition of its member airlines having the best wine in-flight, oneworld said in a news release.
oneworld’s win in the awards, organised by Business Traveller magazine, marks the 12th time that the alliance has taken home the title. Several oneworld member airlines — American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Japan Airlines, Qantas and Qatar Airways — also received medals in the Cellars in the Sky Awards.
Organised since 1985, the Cellars in the Sky Awards recognise the best wines served by airlines in first and business class. Winners are selected following blind wine tastings by a panel of judges who then score the wines independently.
