“We are extremely proud to welcome guests to the first Radisson hotel in Switzerland,” Area Senior Vice President Central and Southern Europe for Radisson Hotel Group Yilmaz Yildirimlar said.
“The transformation around the Zürich Airport is significant, and the rebranding of the hotel represents a key step for the further development of the property in line with the Radisson Hotel Group brand strategy,” he added.
The new property has reopened as what earlier used to be Park Inn by Radisson Zürich Airport in Rümlang, a municipality in Zurich’s Glatt Valley.
While the hotel is a seven-minute drive from Zürich Airport, guests can reach Bahnhofstrasse, Zürich’s downtown in 20 minutes by train.
The hotel’s 211 rooms and common spaces have been extensively renovated to reverberate with the contemporary feel of the property. With ten conference rooms that are equipped with advanced technology, the hotel is expected to focus on business travellers.
