Washington, D.C. (TAN): In case you are planning a trip to Yosemite or Death Valley National Park this spring, Amtrak has you covered.
Amtrak is offering a free second ticket along with the purchase of one ticket for travel onboard the San Joaquins train this spring.

The San Joaquins train connects California’s San Joaquin Valley to other parts of the state. It runs multiple times daily between the San Francisco Bay Area (or Sacramento) and Bakersfield, with stops at Stockton, Modesto, Merced, Martinez and Frenso.
The spring special deal is valid for booking until April 28, 2019, and for travel until April 30, 2019.
Blackouts apply on April 19 and 22, 2019.
Passengers should reserve at least two days before travel.
