Madrid (TAN): A total of 9.9 million tourists visited Spain in July, a 1.3% fall from July 2018, reveals data from the country’s National Statistics Institute, El Pais reported.
This is the second year in a row that the tourist arrival numbers have fallen in July. The main reason for this decline is the slump in visitor numbers from UK and Germany, Spain’s two main markets.
