The actor was flying on a United Airlines flight from California’s San Francisco to Los Angeles when the plane had to make an emergency landing in Bakersfield owing to a mechanical problem, media reports said.
After the plane landed, Reeves jumped in to clarify the situation to the passengers and assist them in making alternative plans.
Passengers were left with two choices – wait there for their luggage, and be driven to Los Angeles, or leave for their destination and get their bags delivered later.
