(TAN): Florida Governor will sign an executive order that will enforce a two-week quarantine on people travelling to Florida from New Jersey and New York states, reports said.

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Governor Ron DeSantis of the American state of Florida said anybody flying into the Sunshine State from the regions of New York or New Jersey will have to mandatorily self-isolate themselves, even away from family, for 14 days, as per reports.

“That’s the only way that we can be sure that that virus is not going to be reintroduced in the state of Florida and then spread,” he was quoted by The Hill as saying.

“A lot of people fled the city and they’re going to stay with their parents, or they’re flying. We’re getting huge amounts of people flying in and we’re looking at how to address those flights,” DeSantis was quoted by Wesh2 as saying.
