(TAN): Valley of Flowers, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is now open for tourists, the tourism department of the north Indian state said.
Tourists from both within and outside the state are allowed.
In a tweet, Uttarakhand Tourism said, “#NowOpen The Valley of Flowers is a legendary trek. From the moment you enter the valley, you have a sweeping view of its vast expanse covered in a layer of flowers. #uttarakhandtourism #simplyheaven.”
“Tourists from outside the state are also allowed. They need to upload their COVID-19 negative certificate 72 hours prior to their visit,” media reports quoted Joshimath SDM, Anil Chanyal, as saying.
