Small business owners lead Airbnb Experiences to offer visitors intimate access to communities that they would otherwise not get a chance to experience. On the other hand, Airbnb Experiences are an opportunity for entrepreneurs to float new business ideas and share their interests with travellers. The new partnership will enable Visit Seattle and Airbnb to inform and support Visit Seattle members to become Experience hosts.
“Seattle is a special place with incredible people, cultures and neighborhoods. We’re excited to work with Visit Seattle to encourage visitors and locals to get off the beaten path and discover a new side of the city,” Director of Business Affairs and Social Impact Experiences at Airbnb, Aoife McArdle, said.
