InterContinental Hotels Group opens Holiday Inn Express in Peruvian capital Lima

Lima (TAN): United Kingdom-based hospitality company InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened a new hotel here under the group’s Holiday Inn Express brand.

Named Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro, the property is located right in the centre of one of Lima’s financial hubs.

An ideal hotel for travelers who appreciate good value, the Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro is a smart and comfortable option for those wanting to enjoy one of South America’s greatest historical and gastronomical capitals,” said Gerardo Murray, Regional Vice President Marketing, Commercial and Revenue Strategy, Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean, IHG.

The Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro is owned by Corporación Hotelera Lima S.A.C. and managed by Grupo Agrisal, Division Hotelera. The hotel is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.

The property features 175 guest rooms designed in a modern style, a fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and event spaces.

With its proximity to restaurants and shopping malls, the hotel sits at an advantageous location in the bustling San Isidro neighbourhood. Guests can also easily visit Huaca Pucllana, the ancient archaeological site in nearby Miraflores district, from the hotel.

Apart from the newly-opened Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro, IHG currently has two more properties in the Peruvian capital – Crowne Plaza Lima and Holiday Inn Lima Airport.

In future, the hotel group plans to expand across Peru.

Presently, IHG has 82 Holiday Inn Express properties across Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.
