Margaret River Open Studios offers peek into world of artists

Margaret river (TAN): Taking a stroll through a picturesque town and dropping by at the studios of artists and sculptures on the way. You see them at work, hear them speak about their work… you get the drift.

How does that sound?

As part of the annual Margaret River Open Studios festival, more than 100 painters, sculptors, illustrators, jewellers, printmakers, glassblowers, ceramicists, photographers and furniture makers based in the Margaret River region will open their studios to visitors and give their this rare opportunity.

The festival will take place in Margaret River town, situated 277km southwest of Perth, from April 27 to May 12, 2019.

The work of some of the artists will also be available on sale at their respective studios.

Respected names such as Leon Pericles, Rachel Coad, Rebecca Cool, Lauren Wilhelm, Ian Mutch, Christian Fletcher and John Miller are taking part in the Margaret River Open Studios festival. 

The event is free and no booking is essential.
