(TAN): All ships in the AIDA Cruises fleet will be equipped with SpaceX’s innovative Starlink broadband service by October. This move aims to provide AIDA guests with seamless Wi-Fi access at sea, the cruise company said.

The four distinct rates—Onboard Chat, Social Media Flat, Internet Flat, and Premium Internet Flat — cater to a spectrum of online activities. From basic onboard chat to seamless high-speed VPN connections, these offerings ensure that passengers remain connected throughout their voyage, just as if they were on land.

Frank Bönsch, VP guest commerce at AIDA Cruises, said: “We want our guests, employees and staff to feel at home on board our AIDA ships. The collaboration with Starlink is another important step in the right direction. Whether chatting, posting or working — with the new, simple offers, people are guaranteed to find the right rate for them.”

Guests embarking on extended voyages of 41 days or more can avail themselves of attractive discounts when booking Internet rates for the entire duration or specific segments in advance.
