Seattle (TAN): United States-based aviation major Alaska Airlines has introduced daily nonstop domestic services to El Paso in Texas state from Washington state’s Seattle and San Diego in California.
The West Texas city became the airline’s 90th nonstop destination from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and 31st nonstop destination from San Diego, following the launch of the new routes.
Director of Network Planning at Alaska Airlines Nicholas Haan said: “We’ve considered adding El Paso as a new destination for some time. We’re very pleased to be able to connect two of our West Coast gateway cities – Seattle and San Diego – to such a vibrant Texas city, and further share our low fares and great customer service we’re known for.”

The new routes are expected to help improve the travel time for flyers commuting between Western Washington and West Texas, two regions sharing business bonds.

The routes will be served by the airline’s Embraer 175 jets.
As per the schedule, flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport departs at 0745 hours, reaching El Paso International Airport at 1147 hours, while returns flights from El Paso leave at 1755 hours, and land in Seattle at 2015 hours, local time.
Flights from El Paso takes off at 1250 hours and arrives at San Diego International Airport at 1340 hours. Return flights from San Diego depart 1425 hours, reaching El Paso at 1710 hours, local time.
