(TAN): Boutique hotel Rome EDITION has officially opened its doors in the heart of Eternal City. Developed by Ian Schrager and hotel owners Statuto Group, this intimate 91-room hotel claims to set a new standard for luxury hospitality in Rome, Marriott International said.
Located in the prestigious Via Veneto area, the Rome EDITION exudes sophistication and elegance. Housed in a historic building from the 1940s, the hotel seamlessly blends original features with contemporary design elements. Architects Cesare Pascoletti and Marcello Piacentini have left their mark with the stunning central staircase made of rare cipollino marble and the preserved courtyards.

The hotel features three distinct bars, a rooftop lounge and pool, a show-kitchen restaurant, and an urban wellness space. Chef Paola Colucci, a renowned figure in Roman cuisine, leads the culinary team at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Anima. With a focus on seasonality and freshness, Chef Colucci creates Italian dishes with a modern twist. The hotel’s lush garden serves as both a piazza and a dining space, offering a menu of light dishes throughout the day.
Guests will find comfort and style in the 91 rooms, including 17 suites. The guestrooms feature custom-designed furniture, Canaletto light walnut wood beds, and expansive windows that showcase the beauty of Rome. The bathrooms are equipped with Carrara marble basins and brushed brass fixtures, accompanied by the renowned EDITION Le Labo amenities.
The Rome EDITION invites guests to unwind and socialize in The Lobby, a space with high ceilings and travertine floors. The hotel’s two bars — Punch Room and Jade Bar — offer cocktails in elegant settings.
