“To honour the arrival of the new baby boy, the airline is also offering all customers travelling on Wednesday 8th May on BA281 to Los Angeles and BA93 to Toronto, the Duchess of Sussex’s former home cities, the chance to wet the baby’s head and raise a toast with a complimentary glass of champagne at the gate area before boarding,” the airline said in a statement.

“It’s only right that we raise a toast to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s newborn baby on two of the routes that are linked to the happy couple, Los Angeles and Toronto,” the airline’s director of branch and customer experience Carolina Martinoli said.
