Zagreb (TAN): Croatia Airlines has renewed its partnership with United States-based travel technology company Sabre Corporation to further improve its commercial planning strategies.
The airline has been using Sabre’s real-time revenue management product for over four years, and following the renewal will upgrade to Sabre’s revenue optimization solution Sabre AirVision Revenue Optimizer that can boost revenue by up to five per cent, Croatia Airlines said. The technology can also cut down the processing time significantly.
“We are laser-focused on delivering a premium passenger experience and that is much easier if our bottom line is healthy. It is essential that we protect our revenue by setting the right price and maximizing the number of seats sold,” Jasmin Bajić, President and Chief Executive Officer, Croatia Airlines, said.

The revenue management solution can help airlines to ‘take a 360-degree approach to forecasting, analyzing, and optimizing their revenue streams, by providing real-time visibility into the total revenue for every flight, every market and every departure date’. The Revenue Optimizer controls intelligent decision support to suggest availability, which is based on ‘segmentation, customer choice-based demand forecasting and competitive intelligence’, by assimilating inventory, fares, and pricing optimisation solutions.
“Sabre’s state-of-the-art revenue optimization solutions are key to making this happen by providing us with actionable insights based on customer demand, competitive landscape and a myriad of other factors,” Bajić added.
Sabre AirVision Revenue Integrity further optimises revenue for the airlines by putting a check on problem bookings and raising utilisation of aircraft seat.
