(TAN): A Lonely Planet article titled ‘How to spend a year in Croatia as a digital nomad’ has given a push to the country’s efforts to position itself as an ideal destination for digital nomads.
The article lists the conditions that foreigners must meet in order to spend a year in Croatia via a digital nomads staying permit. In addition to the official conditions they must meet, they also listed the advantages of Croatia such as beautiful beaches, historic buildings, rich cultural heritage and numerous opportunities for active holidays.
“Soon we will launch a separate marketing campaign that will communicate all the advantages of our country as a suitable and attractive destination for digital nomads. We will especially focus our activities on the markets of the USA, Canada, Great Britain and Ireland,” said the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničić.
