(TAN): Tourism Fiji has announced the dates for the first ever Virtual Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) scheduled to be held on November 25. The annual event has been shifted to virtual mode this year since a physical event was impossible at the wake of the pandemic.

Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport Faiyaz Siddiq Koya said, “FTE is such an important event for Fiji’s tourism industry…while we would have loved everyone to experience the Fijian tourism hospitality first-hand, I’m thrilled the event will still go ahead, be it virtually.” The event is expected to bring together around 51 international buyers from markets of Australia and New Zealand, with around 80 industry partners in Fiji for virtual appointments and presentations.
