Finnair appoints Kristian Pullola as new CFO

(TAN): Finnair has named Kristian Pullola, 49, as CFO and member of the Finnair Executive Board, effective October 1, the airline said in a statement. 

Pullola will start at Finnair as an executive advisor already as of September 1. Finnair’s current CFO Mika Stirkkinen will act as an executive advisor since October 1 and leave the company on October 31.

Kristian Pullola has previously worked for a long period as Chief Financial Officer of Nokia, and prior to that, he held other senior leadership positions in accounting, finance and investor relations at Nokia. Pullola is a board member at Kemira and Terveystalo, and chairman of the board at Antilooppi Management, Eduhouse and FinanceKey.

“I welcome Kristian to the Finnair team, as we now build Finnair’s new strategy in a dramatically changed operating environment. Kristian’s vast experience in driving change is an asset for us as we move towards Finnair’s next chapter,” said Finnair CEO Topi Manner.
