Four injured in tour helicopter crash in Lombok, Indonesia

Lombok (TAN): Four people were injured when a tour helicopter crashed near Lombok International Airport on Sunday, reports said. 

Among the injured are four foreigners.

The crash took place at Kawo village shortly after 1400 hours local time. Apart from the Indonesian pilot named Kustiyadi, the others in the helicopters were tourists from UK, Chile and Germany.

Reports said Luka Marie from Germany broke her leg in the crash, while the others suffered minor injuries.

“It fell just outside the airport’s fence, in Kawo village,” The Jakarta Post quoted Gusti Lanang Wiswananda, spokesperson of the local search and rescue agency, as saying.
