RKI said the decision to remove all nations from its high-risk list is backed by the understanding that the Omicron variant does not lead to major health issues.
The German federal agency and research institute accountable for disease control and prevention said the high-risk classification would be applicable to only areas that register a huge number of coronavirus cases.
