Indonesia begins quarantine-free entry for foreign travellers

(IBNS): Indonesia has begun its quarantine-free entry programme for foreign visitors on March 7, advancing the date by a week.

Travellers from 23 nations including the U.S, U.K and Australia can avail a visa on arrival if they test covid negative prior to boarding and are entirely vaccinated, Bali Governor Wayan Koster said in a notice Friday.

Travellers entering the Southeast Asian are required to maintain a health insurance which covers covid-19 related expenses.

On testing covid-19 positive, tourists will be isolated in a hotel or a hospital till a follow-up swab on the third day.
