(TAN): The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga has launched a special offer ‘HEROES’ to appreciate medical workers for their tireless efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel group said.

“Whilst Latvia has seen relatively low numbers of coronavirus in comparison with the rest of the world, we wanted to express our deepest thanks and gratitude to the global medical community for their unwavering commitment in tackling this pandemic. They truly are heroes and each of them have deserved to experience pampering and service of the highest level…. Combined with ‘Kempinski White Glove Services’ ensuring the safety of the guests and staff, I look forward to welcoming all,” said Leon Baum, general manager of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga.

Medical staff will have the opportunity to book rooms during July 20–Dec. 30 2020 and choose to stay within the same time period for single or double occupancy, starting from EUR 150 (USD 174) a night. Upon check-in, a valid medical ID card or certificate will be required to prove a membership in the medical industry.
