(TAN): The iconic Taj Mahal, New Delhi unveiled the new avatar of House of Ming – the capital city’s premier and legendary dining destination. House of Ming, the Chinese cuisine restaurant, has been a defining part of the city’s culinary landscape for over four decades.

Satyajeet Krishnan, area director – New Delhi and general manager, Taj Mahal, New Delhi said: “Taj Mahal, New Delhi remains an ideal location with exquisite dining choices. The re-imagined House of Ming makes a comeback featuring some of the signature favourites in addition to novel dishes, with exquisite presentations, that celebrate the Cantonese, Sichuan and Hunan flavours. The new décor is elegant and chic, with an ambience that is reminiscent of the famous Ming Dynasty and weaves the tale of the Ming Princess in this visually magnificent restaurant. House of Ming, a 110 seater restaurant, boasts of a warm and rich setting, exclusive Imperial dining and heightened culinary rituals.

The redesigned restaurant presents a gastronomical confluence of the old and the new with an eclectic menu in which Sichuan, Cantonese and Hunan cuisine are celebrated in a manner that transcends both time and boundaries. Here, tradition meets contemporary flair, elegance blends with experience and cuisine is in skilful harmony with design. The beverage offerings are fresh and creative, with a wide selection of drinks to delight divergent palates. The Tea Brewing Cart offers an exquisite array of aromatic flavours.
