(TAN): IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has officially opened Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka, Japan’s first Holiday Inn hotel featuring a suites product. The 185-room hotel, located in Shin-Osaka, is moments away from the world-famous Shin-Osaka Train Station and the gateway to some of Japan’s most coveted areas.

126 of the hotel’s 185 rooms feature a kitchen space equipped with a full-sized refrigerator and microwave, a dedicated dining room, and laundry rooms complete with washers and dryers. The spacious 30-45 square metre suites emulate a home away from home, with the size and facilities ideal for families, groups and extended stay guests. Standard guest rooms offer bright, refreshing spaces ideal for shorter stays. Kids under 12 stay and eat for free.

Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka features two meeting spaces, fitness facilities and ample parking. Café Hi!, a vibrant, sun-filled restaurant is perfect for families. It offers fresh breakfast daily, Mexican-inspired lunch options, a la carte dinner, and small appetizers and beverages in the evenings.

For travellers looking to explore the neighbourhood, the hotel is a 10-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station where guests will find the Shinkansen (bullet train) connections, the rail terminal gateway to Kansai, and easy access to Kansai International Airport and Osaka International Airport (Itami). Holiday Inn & Suites Shin-Osaka will also cover the cost of guests’ taxi fares from Shin Osaka station upon check-in.
