Edinburgh (TAN): United Kingdom-based hotel company InterContinental Hotels Group’s luxury brand Kimpton Hotels and Retaurants has made its Scotland debut with Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel in Edinburgh.
Located in the Georgian New Town area of the Scottish capital, the hotel overlooks one of the city’s most beautiful private gardens. The property is a short walk from Edinburgh’s historic attractions, and offers a view of the Edinburgh castle.

The hotel consists of 184 rooms and 15 suites that are part of seven interconnecting Georgian townhouses. No. 33 at Charlotte Square is a hotel within a hotel offering accommodation for up to 24 guests. It includes the Townhouse suite, three signature and three junior suites, and six bedrooms. It also has a dining room and a drawing room.

Kimpton Charlotte Square features restaurants and bars, including ‘Baba’ which offers Levant cuisine, and ‘The Garden’. Guests can also indulge in spa and free fitness sessions at the hotel.
After Kimpton Fitzroy London, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is the brand’s second property in the country. Kimpton has plans to expand to Glasgow and Manchester in the coming months.
